Job Description
As an Engineer at NielsenIQ, you’ll collaborate with a team of highly skilled technologists passionate about learning and prototyping innovative technologies. The platform currently utilizes Java, ExtJS (Sencha), Angular, Spring Boot, Tomcat, Oracle, Elastic Search, Mongo, and Azure Cloud. The team continuously adopts best-of-breed cloud-native, low-latency technologies and values CI/CD in all development processes. The team is co-located and adopts SAFE Agile methodologies, with central technology hubs in Chennai, Chicago, and Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Write code to develop scalable, flexible applications.
- Ensure the maintainability and quality of code.
- Develop secure and highly performant services and APIs.
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements/new technologies that can improve the platform in terms of speed, quality, and cost.

Skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Good knowledge and experience with SQL (preferably Oracle).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in Angular and/or Ext JS is an added advantage.
- Eagerness to learn independently and flexibility to work across technology stacks.
