Job Description
Pratt & Whitney is looking for a skilled Data Science & Analytics Engineer to join our Data Science, Analytics & Methods team at the India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—spanning systems, modules, and components—throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Your key focus will be on uncovering insights from engineering, manufacturing, and engine performance data. You’ll create clear data visualizations, build predictive models, and embed these tools into real-time decision-making processes. This is a great opportunity to work on innovative aerospace projects and shape the future of aviation technology.
Responsibilities
- Use data from both in-development and in-service engines to uncover insights that support smarter decision-making.
- Build interactive dashboards in Power BI to visualize and interpret data effectively.
- Help define, prototype, test, deploy, and monitor statistical models that deliver accurate forecasts and predictions.
- Recommend the right data analytics tools and techniques for each project.
- Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation throughout.
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Science Engineering, with a strong foundation in Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Solid grasp of machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Python or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work well within a team.
