Job Description of Eaton Off Campus Drive
As a Full Stack Developer Apprentice with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you’ll be part of the complete software development lifecycle—from concept to deployment. Your work will involve building, testing, and launching modern web applications and powerful content management solutions using AEM. You’ll get hands-on experience in everything from designing intuitive user interfaces to implementing server-side logic and integrating seamlessly with third-party services. This apprenticeship offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and gives you the chance to make a real impact on clients’ digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying web applications using AEM and related technologies.
- Collaborate closely with designers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain high-quality front-end components with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular.
- Develop robust server-side logic using Java, JSP, Servlets, and OSGi components for AEM-based applications.
- Integrate AEM with external systems, APIs, and third-party services to enhance functionality and data flow.
- Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and debugging to ensure top-quality, high-performance applications.
- Support deployment and ongoing maintenance for both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Prepare clear technical specifications, workflows, and user guides for developed solutions.
- Keep up with the latest industry trends, best practices, and AEM updates to continually improve skills.
- Actively contribute to team-wide continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Skills
- Solid understanding of core web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of Java programming, object-oriented concepts, and web application architecture.
- Familiarity with—or strong interest in—Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other content management systems (CMS).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating web services.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new tools and technologies.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
