Job Description: What You’ll Do
As a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer at Unisys, you will be involved in various aspects of cybersecurity engineering, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the security posture of the organization. Here’s a glimpse of what success looks like in this role:
- Gaining familiarity with cybersecurity engineering concepts, practices, and methodologies.
- Performing standard cybersecurity engineering duties under guidance, including:
- Knowledge/Hands-on experience on Firewalls, Load balancers, Proxy VPN is a must.
- Assisting with the deployment of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
- Assisting with or performing security tool administration and updates.
- Network scanning to identify vulnerabilities.
- System modification and upgrade/enhancement.
- Incident response (i.e., investigation of incidents, breaches, and threats).
- Security audit coordination.
- Security product evaluation.
- Proactively learning about and keeping up to date with security technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Assisting with special projects as assigned.
