Job Description
As a Full-stack Engineer at EY GDS, your primary focus will be on front-end development. You will be involved in designing and implementing modern web applications, primarily using Angular or React.js with TypeScript. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and manage scalable back-end services, APIs, and database integrations. You will be expected to adhere to best practices in full-stack development and leverage cloud technologies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Development: Develop and maintain robust front-end applications using Angular or React.js with TypeScript.
- API Integration: Participate actively in building and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Back-End Development: Contribute to the development of back-end technologies using Java, Python, or Node.js, and work with various databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Code Quality: Participate in thorough code reviews, write comprehensive tests, and ensure the creation of maintainable, high-quality code.
- Deployment: Work with CI/CD pipelines and provide support for deployment activities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions.
- Technology Updates: Stay informed about emerging web technologies and consistently apply best practices in performance and security.
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Hands-on experience with Angular or React.js and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and ES8+.
- Knowledge of state management, component-driven architecture, and responsive design principles.
- Exposure to Java, Python, or Node.js for back-end development.
- Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Development experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Basic exposure to Docker and containerized deployments is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies is highly desirable.

Education Requirements
