Job Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the development of comprehensive system test plans to ensure effective test coverage and automation.
- Creating and deploying automated system tests that accurately replicate real-world scenarios.
- Identifying opportunities to improve testing methodologies and procedures to enhance test automation efficiency.
- Reviewing product and system design requirements to verify the accuracy and completeness of test plans and test cases.
- Collaborating with developers and other QA teams to resolve automation and verification challenges in a distributed systems environment.
- Becoming an expert in system-wide automation infrastructure to ensure the exceptional performance of products used to deliver large-scale OTT events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in software testing and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing test automation scripts using Python.
- A passion for solving complex problems related to large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating and problem-solving with others.
- Exposure to or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.
