Responsibilities of an Associate Cloud Engineer

As an Associate Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining Anthology’s cloud infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Being an active member of the cloud services team.
  • Installing and managing central computing systems and servers, along with their operating systems.
  • Monitoring the performance of central computing resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Recommending hardware and software upgrades.
  • Consulting with applications and database personnel regarding hardware and operating system environments.
  • Creating documentation to guide operations personnel in day-to-day tasks related to hardware and operating systems.
  • Collaborating with clients and other team members.

Candidate Profile

Anthology is looking for motivated and skilled individuals who possess the following qualifications and skills:

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in Systems Management, Application Support, Infrastructure Monitoring and Management, or CRM product support.
  • Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Familiarity with installation/administration of IIS 6.0/7.0.
  • Familiarity with DNS concepts.
  • Familiarity with networking – TCP/IP.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Team player with a strong desire to learn.
  • High integrity and accountability.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment.
