Job Description
As a Testing Intern, you will be involved in testing infotainment systems developed by Harman. This includes writing test code in Python and validating system software using various automation test techniques and frameworks. Your goal will be to ensure high-quality software and system performance, meeting client and customer requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing test code to test Harman’s Infotainment and Instrument Cluster products.
- Executing tests on real target hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting failures and reporting them to stakeholders.
- Learning about Automotive Infotainment domains (Audio, Media, System, Projection, Connectivity, etc.) and contributing to test code development in a lab environment.
- Handling power equipment and flashing SoC/IOC.
- Coding for Automotive protocols like CAN, ETH, Trace, Audio, and IPC.
Required Skills
- Decent programming knowledge in Python.
- Knowledge of Python frameworks like Robot or PyCharm (preferred).
- Experience with Python data types and OOPS programming (desired).
- Good analytical skills for understanding and evaluating complex scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases for infotainment systems.
