Job Description: Technical Support Specialist
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be working with cutting-edge technologies and Johnson Controls’ IoT platform within the Digital Solution β OpenBlue Global Customer Support team. Your primary role will be to provide world-class technical support for Johnson Controls’ OpenBlue Enterprise Manager. This suite of applications is designed to monitor and improve energy efficiency, asset performance, maintenance, and space performance, ultimately enhancing occupant comfort and satisfaction.
This role involves direct interaction with end customers, branch teams, and third-party partners, providing first-level technical support. You will be responsible for analyzing HVAC and BAS data generated by the IoT platform to provide effective resolutions. Collaboration with the development and DevOps teams will be crucial to ensure faster resolution times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for OpenBlue Enterprise Manager.
- Analyze HVAC & BAS data from the IoT platform to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for faster resolution.
- Interact with end customers, branch teams, and third-party partners.
- Monitor and improve energy efficiency and asset performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- B.E / B. Tech degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of IoT technologies, Python programming, PowerBI data visualization, Postman for API testing, Thermodynamics principles, and HVAC system operations.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-centric approach to service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
