Overview of the Opportunity
- Job Title: Associate Software Engineer – DevOps
- Location: Pune / Hybrid
- Education: B.E/B.Tech/BSC/MCA/MSC
- Salary: Approximately 10 LPA
Responsibilities and What You’ll Do
As an Associate Software Engineer – DevOps, you will be involved in:
- Working with cutting-edge technologies such as containerization, Helm, Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, shell scripts, and CI/CD.
- Developing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
- Contributing to the application tech stack, which includes microservices, Java, .NET, Spring, Oracle, Mongo, RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, and Redis.
- Creating new tools and processes to enhance deployments, stability, and monitoring.
- Ensuring the reliability of deployments and environments across non-production and production stages.
- Evaluating new tools and conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) to improve deployment timelines and processes.
- Facilitating smooth releases to production environments for both patch and major updates.
Who We Are Looking For
Mediaocean is looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable institution (BE, BTech, MSC, MCA, BSc).
- 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, Operations, or Application Development, preferably with microservices.
- A curious mindset and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Responsibility and proactivity in problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to understand the big picture and how different components of a system interact.
- Exposure to application deployment pipelines, large application systems, containers, Kubernetes, microservices, databases, caching tools, Linux, shell scripting, Python, and Git.
- Experience with New Relic, Jenkins, and Kibana is a plus.
