Job Description: Associate Software Engineer at Q2
Q2 is looking for an ambitious and adaptable Associate Software Engineer with a solid understanding of software development in a team environment. As a member of the Bengaluru, India-based team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to develop, implement, and support custom solutions. These projects are fast-paced and dynamic, involving components at every level of the Q2 platform to extend its functionality and meet the unique needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity, encompassing Windows- and Linux-based front-end and back-end components. These solutions will interact with end users and integrate with internal and external services.
- Work individually and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems, ensuring high quality and reliability.
- Provide support, maintenance, and problem resolution for custom features in live production systems, including occasional on-call availability.
- Assist and mentor teammates, providing technical leadership and promoting best practices in software development.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Typically requires 0-2 years of software development experience with a relevant degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential for this role.
