Razorpay is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an IT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing IT assets, ensuring compliance, and optimizing costs. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and asset management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Tracking and Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT hardware and software, meticulously tracking their location, status, and ownership.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets, from initial procurement to final retirement, including diligent tracking of warranties, maintenance schedules, and disposal processes.
- Software License Management: Effectively manage software licenses, ensuring strict compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing software usage to prevent overspending or underutilization.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure that all IT assets adhere to relevant regulations, stringent company policies, and robust security standards. Conduct regular audits to verify asset accuracy and compliance.
- Procurement and Disposal: Collaborate closely with procurement teams for acquiring new hardware and software, and efficiently manage the disposal of outdated or decommissioned assets.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster seamless collaboration with various teams, including IT, Product, Engineering, Business, Finance, and Procurement, to ensure smooth asset management processes. Provide expert support and guidance on all asset-related matters.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all IT assets, including detailed specifications, configurations, and usage patterns. Generate regular, insightful reports on asset status, usage, and compliance.
- Cost Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize asset utilization, reduce costs, and maximize the value of IT investments.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IT assets, providing timely and effective support to end-users, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance asset performance.
Skills and Qualifications
Skills:
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) software (e.g., ManageEngine or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Inventory Management, Ticketing tools, Compliance Monitoring, and Data Analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CSE, Business Administration, Commerce, or Science.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in IT Asset & Inventory Management, Procurement, with a focus on Asset compliance and budgeting.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple teams and vendors simultaneously.
- Good understanding of Hardware (servers, laptops), Network, Storage, and consumables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
