Responsibilities of a Graduate Engineer Trainee

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will report to the Manager and work on a hybrid schedule in Bangalore, India. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance.
Assisting with data modeling and requirement definition mapping.
Developing software extensions and integrations using specific APIs.
Ensuring code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
Performing intermediate system configuration and customization.
Performing intermediate installations of tools to support development.
Providing status reporting within DevOps tools.
Undertaking intermediate system administrative responsibilities.
Offering client support, including troubleshooting, software upgrades, and enhancements.
Implementing, validating, and deploying IIoT solutions.
Performing Data Migration (Data Analysis and Migration using an ETL process).
Utilizing efficient Database technologies.
Committing to meeting customer service metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Managing requirements from multiple clients concurrently.
Collaborating with diverse and cross-cultural teams.
Contributing to internal programs and tool building.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

A degree in Computer Science and IT or a related field.
A CGPA of 7.0 and above.
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQL languages, or related technologies.
Competency with Oracle Database and MS SQL Server.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as Cosmos or Dynamodb.
Experience working with different OS platforms, including multiple Linux distros and Windows.
Understanding of Application architecture and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
Familiarity with leading software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans).
Understanding of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
Ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong collaboration skills to work with clients, peers, and managers.
Excellent personal and delivery skills, with the ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines.
