StoneX Apprenticeship

You can expect to make an impact on the business and experience a career defining apprenticeship program.  The program will start in January or February and go through until July, where the successful students upon attaining the university degree will be  considered for full-time positions that immediately follows the apprenticeship. 

Software Engineer Apprentice:

Position Purpose:

Development Intern will work on Payment Processing Engine for StoneX which process payments for 140+ Currencies and 250+ Correspondent Bank.

Primary duties will include (not limited to):   

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs follow specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating new technology and presenting for architectural review

Qualifications

Essential Technical Skills :-

• Front-End: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Back End: Java, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Mongo DB
• Cloud: Azure Cloud

Desired Skills

Basic understanding and experience of using AIML (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language) and Agentic AI to document, develop, and test software 

Data Engineer Apprentice

Position Purpose: As an Apprentice, you will help develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, SQL, and Python. You’ll support data ingestion, transformation, and performance tuning efforts to enable reliable, scalable data workflows. Collaborate with senior engineers to improve data quality and analytics readiness. 

Desirable Technical Skills

• Databricks
• SQL
• Python
• Exposure to modern cloud and big data technologies

Early Careers Requirements 

• Pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree course from an accredited university 
• Finishing university by 2026
• Available for a January 2026 start on a full-time 6-month program
