Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT Service Desk team. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with limited experience to kickstart their career in IT support and acquire valuable skills.

As a service desk specialist, the following are your primary tasks and responsibilities. You may also be assigned additional tasks.

  • Ensure that all discussions, actions, and completed tasks are properly documented using the IT Service Management Tool (ServiceNow).
  • Utilize the knowledge base in ServiceNow to access information on known errors and workarounds, which can aid in diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual objectives.
  • Effectively manage time between online tasks (phone support) and offline tasks (email support).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in mobile technology through testing, quality assurance, performance evaluation, technical expertise, efficiency, and system knowledge.
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting skills and techniques.
  • Handle customers with specific needs.
  • Address and resolve internal staff requests and Service Desk events, providing IT assistance to a wide range of users across various technologies, primarily Microsoft.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and self-service tickets in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.

Eligibility

  • We welcome individuals with less experience, specifically 0-1 years, to join our service desk team.
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
  • Outstanding communication skills are a must.
  • Candidates should be flexible enough to work night shifts.
  • A graduate degree or equivalent certification in an IT-related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AD, Windows, 0365, and other relevant technologies is desired.
  • Experience troubleshooting Active Directory, Outlook, Networks, and Windows is necessary.
